THE MPH Performing Arts Department will present Manlius Pebble Hill’s 17th Annual Student Choreography Concert on Friday, January 19th at 7:30pm and Saturday, January 20th at 2pm and 7:30pm. The production will showcase original works choreographed in a wide variety of dance genres by students enrolled in Upper School Dance Composition and Performance classes. This year our 7th and 8th grade dancers will join us to perform their original piece in the Saturday matinee.
Michele Koziara, Chair of the Performing Arts Department and Director of Theatre and Dance Education at MPH, directs the annual Student Choreography Concert. She teaches improvisation, dance composition and dance history as integral parts of the dance curriculum. MPH offers an extensive, full-credit dance program rare among Central New York high schools.
